Mulching

Mulching helps to preserve moisture in the soil as well as improve soil health and fertility.

    • Paddock mulching is ideal for horses as it leaves the grass evenly spread over the paddock (not in rows) and can be grazed immediately following mulching.
    • Mulching also spreads manure, breaks up lumps of soil in rough ground and tree trash.
    • Equipment & Machinery – Will Power uses a 2011 Kubota Tractor 4WD, John Deere 5065E or a 148 Massey Fergusson with a paddock mulcher in conducting its paddock mulching service.
    • All dangerous and hidden items are required to be clearly marked or removed from the area to be mulched to avoid damage to machinery.
    • Will Power is on the list of contractors for slashing in accordance with Mornington Peninsula Shire fire notices and breaks
    • We have $10 million insurance cover to work on public and private property
