Pasture renovation

Paddocks that are compacted or pastures that are not showing much growth need attention.

Aeration

  • A paddock aerator eliminates compaction, leaving the pasture intact.
  • This process enables oxygen and water to penetrate deeper and promotes root growth with minimal disturbance.
  • Aeration helps maintain growth in dry periods and can eliminate surface water and run off problems.

Organic Fertiliser

We use and recommend liquid seaweed fertiliser with the addition of lime (if necessary) to adjust soil PH for optimum pasture growth. Seaweed adds to the organic layer of the soil feeding the microbes necessary for the breakdown of nutrients to a form the pasture can use. Being in liquid form it is taken up quicker than granulated fertiliser.
